It is whatever you want it to be! Coaches are available every day of the week at varying times (1-2 coaches will be assigned to you at first). We serve as sounding boards for your speeches, help with script identification/editing and popping, assign drills, and tailor our approach to your needs. Once you sign up to become an Interpify student, your coach will send you an email that connects you to our Slack channel. You can arrange a custom meeting schedule with your coach (ex. once every week, two times a week, etc.).
One of the first things we ask of every Interpify student is to send a video of their speech prior to our first meeting so we can assess the student’s needs. This is also how we match students to the most appropriate coaches. As an example, if a novice student were to join Interpify, we would present the fundamentals of the Interp event in question (popping, script cutting, intro writing, etc.) and work with them through live feedback/drills. Your Interpify curriculum will fit your needs.
We are welcome to students of all skill levels! We just ask that you be as completely transparent and descriptive as possible in the sign-up form. Middle school students are allowed to sign up as well.
